While this wasn’t a problem for our trainers because we’ve been teaching courses digitally for years, they have missed seeing the people they teach in person! So, when we heard the ATD Conference in September 2021 was moving forward with in-person offerings, we were thrilled!
On Tuesday, August 31 at 5 pm, New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, and our Founder and CEO, Kevin Cope presented his “Building Business Acumen: What Your CEO Needs You to Know” session to a packed room of ATD 2021 show attendees. “I was thrilled to be back, live, in front of the ATD community,” said Cope. And the crowd was excited to have him! I know, as a team member at Acumen Learning, I’m biased, but there was definitely electric energy in the room. I know that business acumen can be a tough topic… it’s sometimes misunderstood as a complicated topic to understand, especially in a room full of HR professionals that have such varying levels of understanding of finance.
