Build Business Acumen at ATD 2021 - Aug 29 - Sept 1!

Press Release

Business Acumen: ATD

Ok, so when you think of Utah you probably think of….

...not

...but this year, YOU GET BOTH. ATD Conference 2021 is coming to Salt Lake City, UTAH, August 29 - September 1.

We know, it’s been a long year of lockdown’s, isolation, and limited to no travel due to the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions. So, we are SO EXCITED that live events are back! ...what can we say, we’ve missed seeing you in person. Even more exciting, we’re combining two of our favorite things - the great state of Utah (we may be a bit biased, it’s where we’re headquartered, and most of us live here) and bringing the benefits of team members with strong business acumen to the learning and development community.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our hometown, and show you all the amazing things Utah has to offer. During the show, we’ll be conveniently located in booth 841 on the showroom floor.

WHAT YOU’LL SEE

We know that everything will be a little different at ATD 2021 this year, but we’re totally on-board with the changes if it means we get to see you in person! Stop by booth 841 to meet with our team and learn more about the offerings we have available at Acumen Learning. We’ve got some new things in the works, and we’re excited to introduce them to you!

If you’d like to see what we do in LIVE, and get a real feel for how it would benefit your team - don’t miss our Founder and CEO, Kevin Cope’s live session -“Building Business Acumen: What Your CEO Needs You to Know.” Kevin’s live session will be held on Tuesday, August 31 from 5 - 6 pm. For those unfamiliar with our fearless leader, Kevin Cope, he is a #1 Wall Street Journal and New York Times bestselling author of Seeing the Big Picture - Business Acumen to Build Your Credibility, Career, and Company. In addition to writing and selling his book, Kevin is a renowned trainer and speaker, and has spent the last 25 years working with top organizations including 30 Fortune 50 companies. His five Business Drivers model has been shared with millions of people through his book, articles, and trainings, and has been praised for being both relevant and actionable to help you come to the table prepared. Don’t miss it! Oh, and in case you're not aware yet, sessions at ATD are done a little differently this year and require you to pre-register. You can save your seat to Kevin's session here!

MORE ABOUT ATD

ATD, short for the Association of Talent Development, has been hosting conferences aimed at educating and inspiring individuals in the talent development field for almost 80 years. This premier industry event hosts a diverse mix of world-class speakers (Hey, they even had President Obama speak in 2018), networking opportunities (wait...in-person? Do you remember how to shake ends? Me either… lets check YouTube), and training sessions that focus on thought leadership. Focused on industry trends, best practices, and the discovery of new tools and solutions, ATD draws around 13,000 professionals annually from over 80 different countries. And in this unprecedented year, the conference is anything but normal - adding a new, hybrid element for attendees to allow everyone to get involved no matter your location or comfort-level. Check out this year's conference and presentation schedule, including keynotes with Angela Duckworth (Founder and CEO of Character Lab), Patrick Lencioni (President of The Table Group and Best Selling Author), and Mel Robbins (Best Selling Author and Award-Winning CNN Commentator). Oh, and don’t forget the session by our very own Kevin Cope.
