Acumen Learning is pleased to announce that CEO Kevin Cope and President Ben Cook will both be presenting sessions at the 2018 SHRM conference in Chicago on June 17-19, 2018, alongside keynote speakers Nobel prize laureate Malala Yousafzai and NY Times Bestselling author and professor Adam Grant. This will be Cook's first time presenting at SHRM, and Cope's seventh.
Cope's presentation entitled, "Seeing the Big Picture: Business Acumen to Build Your Credibility, Career & Company," will take place June 18 at 2pm, and will cover how HR professionals can bridge the gap between business functions and see the big picture of how those functions work together to achieve success for the business.
Cook's presentation entitled, "Engagement: The $500 Billion Problem and Why HR Is the Solution," will take place June 19 at 2:15pm. This session will discuss the two levers of employee engagement, and the three crucial steps to follow to connect employees with the company's people and profit strategies.
