Ryan has played a major role helping HR groups shape their learning and development efforts around the topic of Business Acumen. His client list is impressive and includes Verizon, Chevron, AT&T, Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Novell, and United health Group.
After earning a degree in Human Resource Development and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Ryan joined Novell Inc. where he held a number of positions including Regional Sales Manager in Washington D.C., Product Manager for electronic messaging, and Channels Sales Managers for corporate accounts and distribution partners. In 1996 Ryan joined Franklin Covey where he served as both director of Marketing and Channel sales support. In 2000 Ryan started his own company (eBiz Software Development Inc.) focused on back-end web integration for Health Care providers in the Northwest.
As a consultant and speaker, Ryan has established himself as a thought-leader around the topic of Business Acumen and has developed best practices on how the topic is approached and taught.
An avid horseman, Ryan resides in Highland,Utah and loves spending time with his wife and four children.
